ROBERTA "BOBBI" C. WALTMAN
Antelope Valley Press

Born February 10, 1039, in Los Angeles, CA. Passed away February 1, 2010 in Lancaster, CA. She grew up in Tujunga and Lancaster, CA and graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1957.  She was very active in the Antelope Valley Women's Bowling Association as an officer and director on State and National Boards.  She also received numerous awards. She was with the Antelope Valley Jr. Bowling Association, teaching bowling to handicap bowlers. Survived by her husband Gene L. Waltman, daughters Georgeanna "Annie" of Pasadena and Carolyn (Jim) Woodbury of Seattle, granddaughter Gabrielle Nelson of Seattle.  Also survived by sister Shari (Jerry) Webb, brother Robert (Linda) Rudesill, George Jr. (Lynn) Rudesil, sister-in-law Janet Rudesil. Preceded in death by her parents, Alberta and George Rudesill and brother Harvey Rudesill. Viewing was held at Halley-Olsen-Murphy. no funeral services planned.


DINA ALICE GRABOYES (nee SCHNITZER)

Most precious and loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away in her sleep on January 25, 2010. Born in 1926, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Louis Schnitzer and Bessie Miller. She lived her life giving to her family, friends and community. Dina was a lifetime Girl Scout, Board Member of the Woman’s Bowling Association and a life long member of Equestrian Trails Inc. She was President and Treasurer of Corral 20 for many years. Her passions included bowling, traveling and going on the Death Valley rides assisting as a crew member. She was E.T.I.’s office manager from 1983 and retired in 2002.

She is survived by her four children, Randy Graboyes and his wife Marilyn Brown, Jacquelyn K. Rainier and Domestic Partner Patricia Smith, Bonnie Graboyes, and Ronald Graboyes and his wife Christine Gilman; her grandchildren, Roxanne Graboyes, Rebecca Graboyes, Crystal Graboyes, Amanda Gilman and Stephen (Jack) Gilman; great grandchildren, Chase M. Graboyes-Reed, Raianna Graboyes-Reed and Degan Graboyes; and her sister Faye Zacky of California. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Graboyes; and her sisters, Dorothy Graboyes and Bertha Lewis Brown.

Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in her name be made to: The American Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
